Mr. Arthur Allan "Art" Powell, age 69 of Barnesville passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at his residence. Mr. Powell was a native of Coffeyville, Kansas, but had made his home in the Johnstonville Community in Lamar County for the past 25 years. Mr. Powell was Retired as a Pilot from the U.S. Air Force. He was a member and Trustee of the Marvin United Methodist Church. He was also a Past President of the Barnesville / Lamar County Lion's Club.
