Marlys Lee Sitter passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2023 in Shawnee, OK.
She was born on August 27, 1960, in Fort Smith, Arkansas to parents Bob and Eula Ercabrack. At the age of three, she moved with her parents to the Oklahoma City area. Marlys attended high school at Living Word Academy. After high school, she then attended and graduated from East Central University in Ada, OK with a degree in Education. Upon graduation, she worked with challenged young adults and she loved working with them. After that, Marlys went on to teach kindergarten for 11 years at Herinville School in Oklahoma City, OK
On October 5, 1985 Marlys married David Lee Sitter.
Marlys was preceded in death by her parents, and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Funeral Services were Friday, February 17, 2023, at the Little Church of Christ near Seminole with Larry Vickers officiating.
Services are under the direction of McElyea & Owens Funeral Group, Shawnee, OK
