Tina had retired from over 30 years as a Registered Nurse, serving in hospital intensive care in North Carolina, and in Cambridge, Portsmouth and Mansfield, Ohio. At the time of her enlistment in the Navy, she was only the 7th woman ever to enlist as an engineman on tugboats. This experience fostered her love of tools and her work on small engines for the resto of her life.
She loved attending auctions, vegetable gardening, canning and freezing. She was devoted to family and her Christian faith. Tina was an artist, displaying oils in galleries in North Carolina and various locales in Ohio. She was an acclaimed felter, teaching small and large groups. Her felted creations were in high demand and her tableau entry in the Ohio State Fair won 1st place champion of all the creative arts that year.
Tina was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Marjorie Moore and sister, Cynthia Moore. She is survived by her sister, Deborah Moore Haddad; brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Marcia Moore; nephews, Fr. Cyrus Moore Haddad and Zachary Moore; and niece, Andrea Moore.
A private burial will be observed in Mound View Cemetery at a later date.
