James Clifton Stewart, 84 of Alvaton passed away Friday, February 17, 2023 in Bowling Green, KY. Cliff was born in Hopkinsville on January 12, 1939 to the late James Thomas and Sara Louise Stewart.

He was preceded in death by his wife Gloria Stewart.

Cliff was a United States Air Force Veteran and an airplane electrician. He was a faithful member of Woodburn Baptist Church and loved his small group family. Cliff was also an avid animal lover.

Cliff is survived by his granddaughter Casey Powell (Ben), 2 grandsons; Bradley and Cody Garabrandt, 3 great-grandchildren; Madisyn and Jayden Powell and Kai Ray Garabrandt, his sister Nancy Ann Hopson, 2 nephews David Young(Cathy) and Bill Young (Amy) a niece Tina Young Tynes (Norman).

Funeral services will be 2:30 PM Sunday, February 19, 2023 at Woodburn Baptist Church. Visitation will be at the church Sunday from 1:30 PM until the time of the service. A private burial will be held at the Riverside Cemetery in Hopkinsville, KY.
