Lemie L. Abrams was born March 3, 1942, in Spartanburg County, SC to the late Dexter Abrams and the late Minister Ader Abrams. He departed this life on February 9, 2023, at his home. He was also known as Lemie London Walter Lee Abrams. He enjoyed his family and friends. He also enjoyed singing with the fantastic Green Creek All Male Choir. During his early years, he sung with the Sunlight Gospel Quartet and the New Salem Church Choir. Lemie was good at playing the harmonica. It was a privilege for him to walk across the road to his home church, Green Creek Missionary Baptist Church. He was employed by Mohawk (Bigelow) Mill for forty-two years. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Danny Abrams, two brothers, Ervin and Curtis Abrams. Lemie leaves to cherish his memories; his lovely wife of sixty-one year Estelle M, Abrams, three sons, Rev. Thomas L. Abrams (Lisa), Minister Walter L. Abrams (Teresa), Minister Sterling L. Abrams (Tina), two daughters, Patricia A. Simpson (Jeffrey), Lisa A Landrum ( Minister Joseph), one daughter-in-law, Carolyn Jean Tanner Abrams, five grandsons, two grand-daughters, three great grandchildren, one sister, Rosie J. Staley, two sisters-in-law, Vienie Abrams and Hattie Abrams, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
