Faye I. (Sechrist) Foust, age 88, of Hellam, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2023 at Autumn House East. She was the loving wife of the late R. Patrick Foust who passed away in January 2005; together they shared 22 years of marriage. Faye was born in York on August 3, 1934 and was the daughter of the late Melvin and Velma (Druck) Sechrist. She enjoyed most spending time on the beach at Myrtle, pool time, mowing grass, bowling, ice skating, dancing (especially to Elvis), game nights with family & hot fudge sundaes. She will be remembered by many for her unique sense of humor. Faye is survived by her daughter, Dianne Hubler, husband Michael, grandson Todd, wife Jackie, great-grandson Michael and granddaughter Tana Hubler. Also survived by her son, Daryl Dietz, wife Kim, grandson Derek, wife Tina and great-grandson Dalton. She is also survived by her sister June, husband Jerry, niece Jada & nephew Chad. She was preceded in death by her brother Lee Sechrist. Faye shared her clerical skills through the years with many. She began at Bears Dept. Store and retired at Toomey Auction Services. She was an "Avon lady", receptionist for Dr. Ochenrider in Wrightsville and also worked at The March of Dimes, Advance Tool, Graybill's Electric and at the voting polls. She made many great friends in her working days. A Memorial Service in celebration of Faye's life will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at 11:00AM at Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., of East York, 3670 E. Market St., York, PA 17402 with Rev. Kelly Shiflett, officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00AM – 11:00AM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
