Al passed away at the age of 97 ½. Al was born in Miami, Florida on March 10, 1925, to parents, Axel B and Ruth (Eakins) Anderson. He lived, until age 52, in Dade County, Florida. He served in the US Army during the Korean War from 1950-1952. Upon returning from the war, he built his first home, then joined the Miami Beach Fire Department in 1955. He met his wife Mel during Christmas of 1955. They were married on October 6, 1956, in North Chili, NY. He worked on Miami Beach until retiring in January 1977. He then brought his family north to his wife's home town of North Chili, NY, where he resided the remainder of his life. He was always thankful for the way the Lord Jesus Christ had blessed him throughout his life. He is predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Mary Eleanor "Mel" Staines Anderson,
