Funeral services for Mary Bess Washam, age 93, were held at 3 p.m. Jan. 27 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. John Saunders officiating. Interment followed at Union Grove Cemetery in Lillie, under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville.
Mrs. Washam, a homemaker from Lillie, died Jan. 26, 2007. She was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church of Lillie, LA. Preceding her in death was her husband, Wilson Washam.
Survivors are her son, William Warren "Bill" Washam & wife, Peggy of Spearsville.; 1 sister: Maxine Bledsoe of Nederland, Texas. 1 Grandson: Warren Washam & wife, Teresa of Dubach. 1 Granddaughter: Kathy Washam of Junction City.; and numerous other relatives.
