Duane K. Cole, 81 years, of Hamilton, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2023, in his residence. Duane was born January 2, 1942, in Hillsdale, Michigan, the son of the late Donald B. and Doris A. (Bell) Cole. He was a 1960 graduate of Reading High School. He married Kathy E. Lewinski on August 16, 1964, and she preceded him in death on September 9, 2012. Duane was a Tool and Die Maker, working for the Crotty Corporation in Quincy, Michigan, retiring in 2011. Duane enjoyed watching and feeding the birds. He loved animals of all types.

Surviving are his three sons, Keevan Cole of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Dennis (Deidre) Cole of Montpelier, Ohio and Richard (Sharmin Miller) Cole of Hamilton, Indiana; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Kathy and three brothers, David, Jim and Gene Cole.

To honor Duane's request, there will be no visitation or services. Arrangements are under the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, Hamilton, Indiana.
