Leroy really enjoyed doing yard work & related jobs in Cohocton. Many people depended on him for the excellent care he gave their yards & bushes. He was a hard worker & enjoyed weightlifting & physical exercise.
Leroy was predeceased by a brother, John; his father, Norm Avery and grandparents, Maynard & Pearl Avery.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jackie; sons, Anthony from Washington D.C. and Mark from Bath. He is also survived by 3 brothers, Norm (Betty), Keith (Stephanie), and Spencer; 4 sisters, Roxanne (Paul) Van Caeseele, Debbie (Matt) Foster, Val (Rick) Kelleher, and Penny (Victor) Schumacher; and several nieces and nephews.
Leroy's family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 11am at the Cohocton Assembly of God Church, N. Dansville St., Cohocton. He will be cremated at the family's request.
