Juanita Maria Sisneros-Armstrong, 48, of Interlachen passed away Sunday, January 22, 2023 at the Bailey Center for Caring in St. Augustine, FL following an extended illness.
While a native of Annapolis, Maryland, Juanita resided in Interlachen for the past three years coming from the Daytona Beach area. Prior to retirement, she enjoyed working in the Deli Department at the Publix located on Granada in Ormond Beach for 20+ years. Although she dearly loved walking on the beach, collecting sea shells, and working puzzles, she loved her children even more.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Linda and Richard Sisneros; maternal grandparents, Jay and Dorothy West; paternal grandmother, Juanita Sisneros.
Surviving are her husband of 10 years, Justin Armstrong of Interlachen; five sons, Corey LaComb, Shawn Dukes, Bobby, Brandon and Zachary Sisneros; four daughters, Amanda Siegfried, Michelle LaComb, Kaya Dukes and Samantha Thomas; two brothers, Billy Sayers and Dan Sisneros; a sister, Lynnette West; and two grandchildren Aisling and Nolan Sutliff.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 2, 2023 at Pineview Cemetery in Interlachen. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:30 p.m. — one-half hour prior to start of the service.
