COURIER JOURNAL OBITUARY – 02/24/2023
Patricia "Pat" Thompson passed away on December 16, 2022 at the age of 93. She is survived by her children, Mary Beth Thompson of Dayton, OH, Peter Thompson of Louisville, Sally Farley (Jack) of Houston, TX; and her grandchildren, Sarah Farley of New Haven, CT and Daniel Farley of Dallas, TX. Pat loved gardening, decorating her home, and playing scrabble. She will be remembered for the wonderful meals she shared with family and friends, especially the Kentucky Derby parties she hosted for many years. Pat had a beautiful sense of style and grace and was a loving mother, grandmother and friend who will be missed by all who knew her. A funeral Mass will be held on May 13, 2023 at 10 AM Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Immediately following, a burial service will be held at Cave Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton or The Sisters of Loretto Retirement Fund.
