Estella Larsen Reed 1918 ~ 2008
Estella Larsen Reed, born Aug. 14, 1918 died Jan. 30, 2008 in Boise, Idaho of natural causes. She went to be with the Lord at age 89. She was born in Castle Dale, Utah to Erastus Snow Larsen and Emma E. Peterson. Later she moved to Salt Lake City where she met and married Earl Thomas Reed. She was a registered nurse working at Primary Children's Hospital for many years, earning three college degrees during these years. Estella loved her family and friends very much and they loved her great sense of humor. She looked forward to holidays, as she knew she would be with them. The yearly 4th of July reunion was one of the highlights of the year. Estella loved to play bingo, being called the Queen of bingo by her bingo friends. She came to live with her son, Danny Reed, June of 2003 in Boise, Idaho.
Preceding her in death are her husband, Earl, her father and mother, four brothers and six sisters.
She is survived by her son, Danny Reed (Carolyn Reed), brother, Vaughn Larsen; three grandchildren, Aaron Reed (Janelle), Kelly Nielsen, Wendy Crownover (Wayne), and eight great-grandchildren, Lucas, Madison, Preston Reed, Kara, Connor, Brayden Nielsen, and Sabrina and Hunter Crownover. At this time, there will no formal funeral. A memoriam will be held in June and particulars will be announced the end of May, 2008.
