COL. USMC (Ret.) - Serving in the United States Marine Corps for 26 years. Awarded the Navy Cross for his heroism during Operation Tailwind as he and his fellow "Scarface" Cobra Gunships engaged the enemy to provide cover for the exfiltration of a nearly overwhelmed force of US Army Special Operators out of Laos. His combat medals likewise include: 2 Legion of Merits w/Combat "V", Distinguished Flying Cross, and 44 Air Medals/Strike Flight Awards. He was inducted into the Golden Eagles for his distinguished career as an aviator.
