RIP Tim Callis
Remembering the good times.
August 17, 1953 - February 24, 2023
Tim was a 1971 graduate of Bentonville High School, Arkansas.
He graduated from OSU Technology Institute, Okmulgee, OK, 1979. Tim stayed in Oklahoma. Married twice, with a child from each Union, (Maggie Deaton Shiroma)Sarah Jean Callis and Rhonda McClaran) Jacob Austin Callis, both children have passed.
Tim was a son, a brother, an uncle, a friend, a husband, a father, a business owner. He liked playing pool, baseball and golf. He liked classic cars and restoring them, the lake and vinyl records.
You might know him as Tim, Timothy or Doogee.
An old friend said, he was a "thinker." The first time I saw him he was sitting on a rooftop.
He was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer in October 2022. Today, February 24, 2023, he left that battle behind and joined his daughter Sarah and son Jacob.
You can say your goodbyes to Tim on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at the Mt Pleasant Cemetery in Gravette, AR, at 1:00 pm.
Cards for the family and/or flowers to be taken to cemetery can be sent to: Pam Callis Johnson, 2978 N Dorchester DR, Fayetteville, AR 72703.
