Mary Nell Fletcher Glass 92 of Harrisburg formally of Galatia passed away Saturday February 25, 2023 at Saline Care Center in Harrisburg. Mary was born on September 26, 1930 in Harrisburg to the late James W. & Rachel L. (McCue) Allen. Mary first married Gussie (Gus) Fletcher and he passed in May 1991. Later she married Dorman E. Glass he preceded in September 2009. She was a Mental Health Supervisor at Bowen Center in Harrisburg. She was a member of the Ebenezer Cumberland Presbyterian Church but attended Dorrisville Baptist Church in Harrisburg. Mary loved crafts and really enjoyed quilting. She loved her family and enjoyed being a grandma and also to bake pies for her family.
Mary is survived by a son Harold Gene Fletcher, 2 step children Mary Gene Casey & John Glass, 2 grandsons Aaron & Adam Fletcher, seven step grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, two step great grandchildren. She was preceded by her parents, husband's Gus & Dorman, a son Allen Fletcher, step son George Glass, grandson Charles Allen (Chucky) Fletcher, granddaughter Rachel Fletcher, brother Roy Allen and a sister Pearl Hall.
Graveside Funetal Services will be Thursday March 2, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at the Ebenezer Cemetery Thompsonville with the Rev Jerry Williams officiating.
