Arlene was born on June 3, 1930 in Pontiac, Il a daughter of Harold and Minola (Johnson) Weber. She married Marvin Mabis on October 15, 1950 in Pontiac. He preceded her in death on June 24, 2000.
Arlene was educated in Pontiac schools. She worked for Farm Bureau/Country Companies for many years. Her love of horses turned into a second career of raising and training harness horses with her father, Harold Weber. Arlene was very proud of continuing the legacy of the family farm and considered herself a farm girl.
