Mr. Duckworth was born in Laurens to the late Gilbert Madison Duckworth and Edith Cason Wallace Duckworth. He was retired from JD Hollingsworth and an active member of Beulah Baptist Church where he was a former Deacon. Gerald enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and going to the lake, but his greatest love was being around his family.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two sons, Kevin Duckworth (Kendel) and Casey Duckworth; three grandsons, Kameron, Kaleb and Kody Duckworth; a sister, Dorothy Duckworth Estes (Ray); a sister-in-law, Janice Duckworth and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Elford Duckworth.
Burial at Beulah Baptist Church cemetery.
