Harry Edward Dingman Jr., 69, of Rowesville, SC, passed away February 25, 2023. He was the husband of Catherine D. Dingman for 44 years.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, Columbia, SC, with Military Honors.

Harry was born in Johnstown, N.Y. to the late Harry Edward Dingman, Sr. and the late Anna Mae Etherton Dingman. He earned an Associate's Degree in automotive technology and was employed with Monro Muffler in New York and was also a mechanic at Blanchard Equipment. He was a proud Army Veteran and was a Sergeant with the 101 St. Airborne. Harry served 8 years on active duty and 4 years in the National Guard. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, traveling and loved his dogs and his other animals. Harry truly loved spending time with his family and his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Melissa Dennis (Jr.) and Holli Dingman-Howe (Dan); his grandchildren, Blake Dennis and Delilah Howe; two sisters, Victoria Anguiano (Ramiro) and Bonnie Eutermarks (Scott) and one niece and two nephews.

Memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
