Bonnie Bumgarner Fisher
STANLEY - Bonnie Bumgarner Fisher, 94, formerly of 309-A Taylor Road, died Feb. 29, 2008, at Stanley Total Living Center.
She was born in Gaston County, daughter of the late Alfred J. and Flossie Painter Bumgarner.
Funeral service conducted by the Rev. Gary Rankin will be held 2 p.m. Monday, March 3rd at Craig Memorial Baptist Church.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Gardens.
The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church; other times at the home of Roger and Ruby Fisher, 2318 Mariposa Road, Stanley.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph M. Fisher; a son, Larry Fisher; three sisters, Bertha Black, Inez Lewis, and Mary Long; and six brothers John, Robb, George, Jay Jr., Amon, and Pat Bumgarner.
She was a member of Craig Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Roger Fisher and wife Ruby, Doug Fisher and wife Louise, Steven "Brownie" Fisher and wife Sarann all of Stanley; two daughters, Kay McAlister and husband Fred of Stanley, Penny Auton and husband Reid of Lincolnton; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
