Animator, Director, Producer, and Story Artist for Walt Disney Animation Studios where he had been employed since 1953. He was drawn to animation after seeing "Pinocchio" at 6 years old. He worked on his drawing skills throughout his childhood and dreamed of becoming a Disney artist. After graduation he got an interview with the company after dropping off his portfolio with a security guard at the company's studio in Burbank. He was hired to work in the the mail room and then became an in-betweener on "Lady and the Tramp." He eventually worked his way up to becoming an animator. Some of his notable work includes "Mickey's Christmas Carol," "Lady and the Tramp," "One Hundred and One Dalmatians," and "The Great Mouse Detective." In 2008 he was given the Disney Legends award for his many outstanding years of work with the company. And in June of 2023 he was due to receive his anniversary gift for 70 years with the company.
