George H. Peterman, sixty-eight, Lancaster R7, died at 4 p.m. yesterday in St. Joseph's Hospital after an illness of several days. He was born in Lancaster, a son of the late George H. and Eliza Felsinger Peterman, and was a member of St. James' Episcopal Church. His wife, who died in 1944, was the former Rose Bittle. He is survived by a brother and two sisters, William F., Reading; Mrs. Lillian Scheid, Lancaster; and Mabel F., wife of Charles F. Abel, Lancaster. (Lancaster New Era - Oct 21, 1948)
