Mary Andrews, 94, died at home surrounded by family in Salmon, Idaho on September 6, 2018.

Mary was born on March 14, 1924 to Earl & Lillian (Johnson) Millick in Challis, Idaho. She was the second child of three. She attended Challis High School where she graduated in 1942. She then married her high school sweetheart, Rex Andrews, on May 18, 1942 in Salmon, Idaho.

After getting married, Rex and Mary lived at 17 Mile where they ranched until 1963. They then moved to McDevitt Creek to work on Grandpa Ernests Ranch. In 1973 they moved back to 17 Mile when Rex began working for the Forest Service. They retired to Salmon in 1993.

One of Rex and Mary's favorite things to do in the summer was to travel to Clark Canyon Dam in Montana where they would fish. They did this for many years.
She was a homemaker and Rex's right hand throughout their lives on the ranch and afterwards. She was a wonderful cook, beautiful seamstress, gardener, queen of chicken & turkey raising, and an avid bridge player. She enjoyed sharing her love of card games with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Rex, her brother, William Millick, her sister-in-law, Susie Millick, her brother-in-law, Leslie Steele, and son-in-law, Tom Udy.

Mary is survived by her son, Mel (Martha) Andrews of Salmon, her daughter, Sandy Udy of Salmon, her sister, Eva Steele of Salmon, her grandchildren, Jennifer (Curt) Rosin of Salmon, Amy (Earl) Bradshaw of Temple, Texas, Julie (Dion) Longoria of Salmon, Greg (Shannon) Udy of Rupert, Twyla (Ryan) Wilkinson of Salmon, numerous nieces and nephews, 10 great grandchildren, and 4 great- great grandchildren.
