John Leon Stain 67 of Dumas, Arkansas passed away March 2, 2023, in Monticello, Arkansas. Born March 15, 1955, in Drew County, Arkansas, the son of John and Maudie Breedlove Stain. His parents, stepfather Homer Breedlove and sister Kay Pageloff preceded him in death.
John was a member of Assembly of God Church and was a former employee at Akin Industries.
Survivors are his wife Angela Stain of Dumas, Arkansas son Jonathan Stain of Dumas, Arkansas and daughter Lindsey (Drew) Todd of Monticello, Arkansas three brothers Larry (Pauline) Stain, Roger Breedlove and Bufford Breedlove all of Monticello, Arkansas and five sisters, Mellie (Buck) Buchanon of Star City, Arkansas Jewel Brixie of Monticello, Arkansas Diane Stain of Dermott, Arkansas , Shirley Hawkins and Annette Burnett both of Monticello, Arkansas and four grandsons Gavin, John Thomas, Trey and Tyson Todd.
Visitation from 2 Pm – 4 Pm, Sunday March 5, 2023, at Griffin Funeral Home. Graveside services held 11 Am, Monday, March 6, 2023, at Tyro Cemetery with Rev. Paul Pickens officiating. Memorials may be made to donor's choice. Arrangements made by Griffin funeral Home, Dumas, Arkansas.
