FRANKLIN-Eric Lee Brown, 22, a native of New Iberia and a lifelong resident of Charenton, died, Friday Oct. 5, 2007 at the Regional Medical Center in Memphis, Tenn.
Eric is survived by his mother, Melissa Darden of Charenton; his two daughters, Xani-Paaxta Brown and Jade Brown, both of Charenton; two brothers, Robert Brown and Derek Brown, both of Charenton; one sister, Kelsey Dupuis of Paragould, Ark.; and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.
The family requests that visitation be observed today from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Ibert's in Franklin. The mortuary will reopen Wednesday from 9 a.m. until time of services.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Brother Bobby Hodnett officiating the services. Burial will follow in the Chitimacha Mausoleum.
