Nora was born in Kentucky the daughter of Oliver Hensley and Katherine Howard. On July 20, 1911 she married Albert Landon Williams the son of Henry Williams and Dicie Stidham. Their children are; Lacy Williams 1901-1915, Ida Mae (Williams) Reed, Eunice Marie (Williams) Subett Salyer, Edgar Ray Williams, Walter Williams-died 18 months with diphtheria, Eva Williams 1923-1923, Emma Jean (Williams) Penix, Ola Marie (Williams) Conley, Henry Clayton Williams, James Rufus Williams and Helen (Williams) Pennington Tressler Layne.
