Tamara Kaye Abla, 54, of Checotah, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2023. She was born to Donald and Corkey (Beach) Sisco, in Muskogee, Oklahoma on Wednesday, October 2, 1968. Tamara grew up in Checotah, and graduated from Checotah High School in 1986.

She worked as a CNA for several years. Later Tamara went to work for Doyle Tile until she was forced to retire. She enjoyed dancing, especially line dancing. Tamara enjoyed playing bingo and telling stories. She loved going to yard sales, finding the next bargain. Tamara liked to paint Indian art. She loved spending time with her nieces and nephews.

Tamara was preceded in death by her parents.

She is lovingly survived by sister, Roxy Moore of Checotah; nephews, Robert Crossland of Checotah and Rusty Crossland and wife Mandie of Checotah; nieces, Deztiny Guyton and husband Dae'Shon of Oklahoma City, Jessi Moore of Oklahoma City, Angie Moore of Dallas, Texas, Emily Moore of Checotah, Lisa Moore of Checotah and Julie Crossland of Checotah; great niece Hailey Crossland, great nephews, Gunner Crossland and Austin Crossland. Tamara is also survived by other extended family members and a lifetime of friends.

Tamara will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Cemetery. Her service will be at a later date.
