Mr. Slater is survived by his wife: Gloria Slater, Live Oak, FL; two daughters: Vicki (Michael) Fugate, Newport Richey, FL, Sherry Harrison, New Port Richey, FL; one son: Michael (Vivienne) Slater, Clearwater, FL; one sister: Eileen (Don) Sgontz, Dayton, OH; one brother: Ronald Slater, Columbus, OH; seven grandchildren: A memorial service will be set at a later date.2012
