Mr. Jordan started his career at Cannon Casket Company in Villa Rica, Georgia and worked there for 14 years. He then moved to Southwire where he worked in the East and West Mill and retired as the plant manager. He enjoyed hunting and especially the sound of hounds chasing coons and rabbits. He also liked fishing, playing horseshoes, and listening to Gospel and Country music. Alan Jackson was one of his favorite artists. He also liked the excitement of a good car race. But most of all, he loved God and always enjoyed attending Macedonia Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kermit and Macie Jordan; brothers: Hamil and Henry Jordan and Justin Roberts.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. (Georgia Time) at Macedonia Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Carroll Memory Gardens. The family will received friends at the Rainwater Funeral Home Tuesday, March 7, 2023 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m.
