Jerome will be cremated and buried at Oakwood Cemetery in Monticello.
Jerome was born on August 28, 1934, in Hopkinton, Iowa, the son of Vincent and Ruth (Lewis) Redmond.
He enlisted in the US Air Force, serving twenty years, earning the rank of Master Sargent as an Avionics Superintendent.
He was known for despising slammed screen doors, and for his love of fishing and reading. His family loved his special homemade Holiday fudge.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Jeanne Harr, Elizabeth Picray and Shirley Redmond; brothers: William Redmond and Ralph Redmond.
