Eloise Elzora Bundy passed away July 6, 2022 at 87 years old in Ocean Springs, MS. She is originally from Andalusia and Mobile, Alabama. She moved to Gautier, Mississippi in 1953 at the age of 18.

Eloise and her husband Ezra "Ted" Dunlap were some of the founding members of the Gautier Volunteer Fire Dept. Ted was the 1st Fire Chief.

Eloise was the mother of 6 children, Bill (Brenda), Ken (Debi), Penny (Joe Ladnier), Dan, Edith deceased, 2006, (Joe Hopson) and Della Dunlap (Dave Miller) and 2 step-children, Nancy Dunlap Isbell, deceased 2014, and Buddy (Ruby) Dunlap. Altogether, there are several generations of the couple's descendants on the MS, AL, LA, VA & FL.

Eloise's second husband was Joe T. Scroggins. He was the love of her life. Joe T. was originally from Arkansas and passed away in Florida.

Eloise had worked for Gollott's & Sons, General Host Corp, and Broome's Grocery. Her hobbies included growing house plants & gardening, sewing, crocheting, watching NASCAR, and researching family history. She was a life-time member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 151, Pascagoula, MS.

All of Eloise's siblings preceded her in death except her youngest sister, Betty Bundy Myers. Her parents, Lucille Stephenson Bundy and Gerald Porter Bundy passed away in the 1960s and 1970s.
