OBITUARY
Crowley – Funeral services will be held Friday, March 10, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church for Jeffery Joe Freddie, Sr., 65, who was called home to his final resting place with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, March 1, 2023.
Services will be conducted by Father Mark Odoguje.
Interment will be in the Southwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Jennings, LA.
Jeffery Joe Freddie, Sr. was born on June 19, 1957, to the late Joseph Freddie and Helen Jones Freddie.
Jeffery was married to Rebecca Webster and of this union no children were born. He was a devoted and faithful servant who had a zeal for displaying love, kindness, and appreciation to family, friends, and anyone he encountered. Jeffery was a faithful member of the Usher Team Ministry at the The Family Church, Lafayette, Louisiana.
Jeffery worked numerous jobs as a contractor and hired teams of workers under his guidance until the time of his death. He also ran his own printing shop in Lafayette, LA. He drove 18-wheelers in Atlanta, GA.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Rebecca Webster of Crowley, LA; his sister, Angelina Marie Freddie (David) of Crowley, LA; his daughter, Angelica Brewer of Arizona; his son, Jason Freddie of Jamaica; one uncle, Michael Freddie of Houston, TX; three aunts, Irma Jean Tolliver, Mary Jane McKelvy, both of Houston, TX, Dorothy Marie Freddie Mouton (Phillip) of Crowley, LA; his godchild, Yolonda Freddie; and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Jeffery Freddie, Jr. and Joshua Wilridge; parents, Joseph and Helen Jones Freddie; his brother, Joseph Freddie, Jr.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 10, 2023, at St. Theresa Catholic Church from 8:00 a.m. until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 9:00 a.m.
