Catherine M. LaBelle Loughney, 93, of the Green Ridge section, died Friday at home. She was the widow of Patrick Loughney, who died in 1962.

Born June 17, 1914, in Dunmore, daughter of the late Frank and Grace Santarsiero LaBelle, she was a graduate of Dunmore High School and a member of St. Clare's parish and its Altar and Sanctuary Guild, the Sant' Andrea Society and the All-Seasons Club. She was a former member of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus. She was an avid baker, quilter and seamstress and she loved to travel.
