Funeral services for Charles J. Newman, who died Sunday, were conducted this afternoon, at the residence, 35 Bradford Street. The Rev. H. W. Mueller, of St. Paul's Lutheran church, officiated. Relatives acted as bearers. Interment was in the family plot in the Esperance cemetery.
Mr. Newman was horn in Hanover, Germany, 77 years ago. He had been a resident of Albany for the past eight years. Surviving are a son, William Newman, of Duanesburg, and five daughters; Mrs. James Burtt, of Duanesburg; Mrs. Walter Corey, of Amsterdam; Mrs. Chester Skinner, .Mrs. Byron Irish and Miss lnez Newman, of Albany. Funeral director Dascher was in charge of arrangements.
