1 of 10 known children of Henry Oliver Lamb & Mary Jane Walker. He married Emily Eleanor Jones (1885-1956), of 'dulce Domum,' Dunsford St., Lancefield, Victoria, Australia, in 1907. Emily was a daughter of William Robert Jones & Eleanor Johnston

Will enlisted 31 Jan 1916 from Romsey where he lived with his wife.
Next of kin was listed as his father Henry Lamb in Ramsey however, his parents had moved to Northcote prior to his death, also he was married at the time.
Will served as Private 4748 with the 21st Australian Infantry Battalion.
Immediately after his death Emily moved to Lancefield. From 1923 she was living at 28 Spencer Street, North Essendon where she died in 1956

* Brother Bert 'Bertie' Lamb, Private 783 with the 5th Australian Infantry Battalion, was wounded at Gallipoli, returned to Australia 21 March 1915 and re-enlisted April 1916, as Driver 12252, 3rd Supply, AMTS & returned to Australia 23 July 1919

* Brother Harry Lamb, Private 142, with the 11th Australian Field Artillery Brigade, was returned from war in Feb 1915 marked 'unlikely to become an efficient soldier', but he re-enlisted as Harry Lambing and returned to Australia 27 Aug 1917

* Brother John Oliver Henry enlisted from Martinborough, New Zealand and served as Trooper 9/840 with the Otago Mounted Rifles, 3rd Reinforcements. He returned to New Zealand wounded in 1917 and had been in indifferent health ever since. He was sent to the Greytown Hospital and underwent an operation from which he died on 8 Jan 1919
