Charles Leo Benson, age 87, passed away March 10, 2023. Leo was an electrician at John Glenn Airport and employed by the City of Columbus. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps having served during the Korean War. Leo was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and was also President of Resident Council at Smith's Mill Health Campus. Leo loved putting together puzzles, birdwatching, and was a lifelong fan and supporter of the Ohio State Buckeyes! He also loved God with his whole heart and did his best to brighten the day of everyone he met. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Jeanne Benson and also Thomas Jeremiah Benson, Thomas Jean (Kate) Benson, Josephine Benson, Jacqueline (Bob) McFadden, Frederick (Pat) Benson, Pierre Benson, Madeleine (Bob) Peters, Rosemarie Benson, and Daniel Benson.
