Mrs. Holloway was born Nov. 6, 1919, in Randolph County, Ala., the daughter of the late Will and Lena McClendon Cook. She lived in LaGrange for most of her life and retired from the Dunson Division of West Point Pepperell. She was a member of Wehadkee Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher for several years. She enjoyed the outdoors and loved gardening.
She is survived by two daughters, Martha Yarbrough of the Abbottsford community and Runette Bagley of LaGrange; sons Rayford Holloway, Steve Holloway and Gary Holloway, all of the Abbottsford community; 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Will Cook of Sandy Springs, Ga., and Sonny Cook of LaGrange.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Holloway; a daughter, Peggy Joyce Holloway; and a grandson, Brad Holloway.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, in the Hunter-Allen-Myhand Chapel with the Rev. Olin McClain officiating. Burial will be in Shadowlawn Cemetery.
