Marie Rochelle of Helena died at age 75 from natural causes on Wednesday, May 15, 2002. She was born Anna Marea Ramsey in Bixby, Okla., on May 5, 1927, to John and Beaula (Cordrey) Ramsey.

She married Milton Anglin from Texas in l942. They settled in California. They divorced after 30 years. While she was living in California, she met and married Robert Rochelle in 1986. Following his death in 1989, she moved to Helena in 1992.

Mom had a great love for music and dancing, as well as for her family. She was a homemaker her entire life. She loved baking and cooking for her family. A fashionable dresser, she was very particular about her hair. She insisted that her grandchildren call her NaNa. Also, she never wanted to admit to being a senior citizen.

She was a beloved mother to her daughter, Mary Walker, and her husband, Ted, of Helena; three sons, Mel Anglin and wife, Carole, of Union City, Calif.; Ed Anglin of Helena; and Mike Anglin of Hayward, Calif. Other survivors include her first husband, Milton Anglin of Haskell, Okla.; a brother, Fred Ramsey of Payson, Ariz.; and grandchildren, David, Theresa and Chris Walker, Diana and Greg Anglin, and Don and Daryl Anglin; and numerous cousins.

Cremation has taken place. No service will be held. Her ashes will be placed over her late husband's plot at the Chapel of Chimes Cemetery in Hayward.
