Ms. Betty Lou Beasley Marshall Age 68 of 178 Long St. Mt. Airy, NC., passed away Friday February 22, 2008 at the Northern Hospital of Surry County in Mt. Airy. Ms. Marshall was born July 29, 1939 in Surry County to Lillie Flippin Beasley and the late Calvin Beasley, she was employed by Perry Manufacturing and later was employed by Kentucky Derby Hosiery and was a member of the Community Baptist Church. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law Lisa Earlene and Jim Garzoni of Indian Trail, NC. and Sharon Annette and Mike Hayes of Mt. Airy, one son and daughter-in-law Timothy Wayne and Linda Faye Marshall of Troutman, Grandchildren Jimmy and Shannon Garzoni both of Indian Trail, Matthew, Lauren, Sara and Sam Marshall all of Troutman Hannah and Haley Comer, Hunter, Candra, Christopher and Jessica Hayes all of Mt. Airy, a great granddaughter Sadie Grace Hayes of Mt. Airy, her mother Lillie Flippin Beasley of Mt. Airy, two sisters and brother-in-law Inez and Mickey Badgett and Isabell Marshall all of Mt. Airy. Funeral services will be held Monday February 25, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at the Community Baptist Church with services conducted by Rev. Kenneth Jessup with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday night 6 to 8 P.M. at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy.
