Mrs. Mattie Francis, 94, of Earlington, KY, died Saturday, February 23, 2008, at North Fulton Regional Hospital in Roswell, GA.
Born April 5, 1913 in Earlington, KY. She was the daughter of the late Walter Norwood Martin and Nanie Belle Summers Martin. She was also preceded by her husband, James Edward Francis in 1983.
Mrs. Francis was a retired Postal Clerk for the US Postal Service and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Earlington.
She is survived by her son, James N. Francis of Alpharetta, GA; three grandsons, two great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 1, 2008, at the First United Methodist Church in Earlington with Rev. Ronnie Young officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville, KY.
