Anne graduated Upper Merion High School Class of 1939. She then was a 1941 graduate of the School of Industrial Arts in Philadelphia. She was a member of the Conshohocken Art League based out of Mary Wood Park House.
Always an animal lover and advocate of animal rights, she was a generous contributor to various animal charities and foundations.
Having an outstanding outlook on life, she had a wonderful sense of humor and way about her.
Anne is survived by a nephew, Pasquale ‘Pat' Picozzi and wife Diane; a niece, Connie Hartz; a cousin, Frederick Edenharter and wife Evon.
She was predeceased by: a son, James Ambirge; a daughter, Marjorie Christakis; and her stepfather, Howard Brownlee.
