She was born Aug. 16, 1934, in Stotesbury, Mo., to Claude and Madelon (Sullivan) Linn. She married Marvin Akkerman May 16, 1957, in El Dorado. He survives of Whitewater.
She attended Federated Church in Whitewater.
Other survivors include: one son, Gary Knowles of Andover; two daughters, Lynn Frazier of Whitewater and Kym Akkerman of Wichita; one sister, Ann Hill of El Dorado; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Federated Church in Whitewater with Pastor Arnold Ensz officiating. Burial will be in the Benton Cemetery.
Friends may call until 8:30 p.m. today with family greeting friends from 7 to 8:30 today at Bob Lamb Funeral Home Chapel in Whitewater.
