A native of Savannah, he had spent his entire life in Andrew County. The son of the late Carl Elmo and Bertha Irene Watts Templeton, he owned and operated a grocery store in Flag Springs and later Wyeth. The previous 20 years before retirement, he had been an electrical contractor in Savannah. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna M. Krawczyk, on Jan. 14, 1980.
Survivors include a son, Wayne of Savannah; a sister, Virginia Kraus of King City; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
