Leta Oscar Green-Goodwin of Poteau(LeFlore County), Oklahoma, died Sunday, March 2, 2008, in Poteau. She was born in Vian(Sequoyah County), Oklahoma. Leta was a bookkeeper and of the Jehovah's Witness faith.
She was the widow of husbands' Eddie Green and George Goodwin.
Leta is survived by a daughter: Leta Cooper of Poteau; two sisters: Geneva and Mary Beach-both of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; a brother: Earl Runyon of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on March 5, 2008, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Poteau, Oklahoma.

She is survived a daughter, Leta and husband Jimmy Cooper of Poteau, OK; a brothers, Earl Runyon of Tulsa, OK; two sisters, Geneva Beach and Mary Beach both of Broken Arrow, OK; a grandson Chuck Cooper of Lewisville, TX; a granddaughter Jeanne Lillard of Heavener, OK; two great granddaughters Brandi Wilson and Jamie Wilson, both of Othello, WA; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other family, friends and loved ones. Pallbearers will be Shell Turner, Ralph Gray, Gary Lonto, Dale Kechamister and Duane Weldon. Interment will be at 12:30 PM, Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at Oakland Cemetery, Poteau, OK, with Dorsey Henson officiating. Memorial service will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 5, 2008, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Poteau, OK, with Wayne Townley officiating.
