Elizabeth is my Maternal 4th Great Grandmother.

Born out of wedlock to Elizabeth Wood.

Baptised 1st of April 1821 at Saint Nicholas Church in Charlwood, Surrey.

Married William (Kirby/Kerby/Curby) on the 10th of May 1847 at Saint James Church in Croydon, Surrey. (Still no father on marriage certificate)

Their only child George (Thomas) Kirby was born the 1st of January 1849 in The Croydon Workhouse.

Elizabeth passed away on the 19th of August 1849 at the Croydon Union Poor House, due to Cholera - Aged 27.

Cemetery record states age as 24.

Elizabeth was buried on the 22nd of August 1849.
