Born June 12, 1945 in Allentown, PA, he was the son of the late Donald B. and Shirley R. (Beil) Taylor. He lived his early life in Morwood, PA.
Mr. Taylor graduated from the Pennsylvania School for the Deaf, Philadelphia, PA. He later attended Gallaudet University in Washington D.C.
He and his wife, Karen L. (Gilbert) Taylor, were married on June 14, 1986 in Greencastle, PA.
Mr. Taylor was a mail handler at the Post Office in Philadelphia for over 30 years.
He was a member of Faith Christian Fellowship, Williamsport, MD.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Kendra G. Knepper of Greencastle; one son, Brian K. Marshall of Woodbury, NJ; one grandson; three sisters, Lynn K. Lawson of Media, PA, Bonnie G. Smith of Souderton, PA, and Sandy L. Henkel of Houghton, MI; two brothers, Brian D. Taylor of Temperanceville, VA; Gene C. Taylor of Doylestown, PA; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, March 8, 2008, in Faith Christian Fellowship, 16726 Lappans Road, Williamsport, with Pastor John Miller, officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.
