Mr. Aubry Raymond Chatham, church member, military veteran and construction entrepreneur, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at his home in Cumming, Georgia.
He was 73.
Mr. Chatham is survived by five children:
Patricia Perry of Fairburn, Georgia,
Jennifer Wilcoxon of St. Simons Island, Georgia,
Mary Jo Clegg of Cincinnati, Ohio,
John Raymond Chatham of Canton, Georgia and
Martha Wakelin of Smyrna, Georgia &
Seven grandchildren;
Mr. Chatham is the Son of Fred & Mary Bates Chatham (d-1980 & 1968). 2-brothers, James Howard & Marvin Fred . 1-surviving sister, Mary Joyce Stephens. 3-Sisters deceased-Florence Willene (d-1930), Martha Kate (d-1930) & Sibyl Marie (d-1935).1st wife was Peggy, buried at Greenlawn Cemetary, Roswell, GA.
Homebuilder for 30-years and had a Plumbing business for 20-years. Saved & Baptized at Mt. Oliver Baptist Church, Roswell, GA. A former member and church clerk of Sentell Baptist, Sandy Springs, Ga. A Founding Member and Ordained Deacon at Northside Baptist Church, Roswell, GA. A member of Sandy Springs Masonic Lodge.
The family received friends on Friday, December 14 at Northside Chapel, 12050 Crabapple Road, Roswell, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 15 at Northside Chapel. Burial services will be private. The family suggests that expressions of sympathy be given as contributions to the Victory Home Foundation.
