Loving grandfather of 15 and great-grandfather of 5; dear brother of Dolores Berra of St. Louis and Donald Berra of Castle Rock, Colorado.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mary Louise (nee Fassi) Berra, a grandson, Charles Berra and his sister, Patricia Wesp.
Robert was a U.S. Marine Corps Combat veteran of the Korean War.
He was a 34 year veteran of the St. Louis Fire Dept. and the Crestwood Fire Dept. where he was a Fire Marshall, Fire Inspector and Assistant Fire Chief. He retired from the Crestwood Fire Dept. in 1991.
Robert was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church and St. Ambrose Catholic Church.
He was also a member of the Missouri Assoc. of Building Officials and Inspectors since 1964, where he served as President from 1986-1987 and a member of the Marine Corps League of Jefferson City.
