Son of Mann & Judith Nelson Page; husband of Elizabeth Scollay Page. Father of Mann Page (20 Oct 1859 - 7 Nov 1859) and Sally Scollay Page (8 May 1858 - 15 Oct 1939).

He served as a Lt. and Quartermaster in the Mexican war; Col. in the 26th Virginia Infantry Regiment, CSA. Killed in action on 17 Jun 1864.

Note Blandford cemetery records list his date of death and burial as 1 Jul 1864; his headstone state 17 Jul 1864. According to witnesses he was mortally wounded on June 17th, 1864, and died many days later which would explain why Blandford's records say he died July 1st 1864.
