Howard, age 89, of Melbourne, FL, passed away on January 23, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Hilda Marquardt; Brother, Gerald Marquardt; Sister, Idella Svensgaard; stepdaughters, Cheryl Meade, Cindy Archeletta; wives, Bernice (Hausaurer) Marquardt, Ruth (McCartle) Marquardt, Geneva (Meade) Marquardt, Survived by son, Greg Marquardt; daughter, Valerie Brownlee; stepsons, Delbert Bagley, Radford Meade (Sharyl), Alan Meade (Cathy); stepdaughters, Teresa Kelleher, Lynette Ruff, Pam Irving (Joe) and Freda Noronha. Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Howard grew up near Vergas, MN before moving to Wolf Point, MT at 18. He joined the Army and served time in Korea with the 304th Signal Corp, attaining the rank of Sergeant before being honorably discharged in 1955. Upon returning to civilian life, Howard worked for Montana Dakota Utilities in Wolf Point Montana for 37 years. He was also a volunteer firefighter for Wolf Point for 20 years. Howard retired in 1992. After retirement Howard spent his time between Florida and Tennessee. He loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting and hiking. A graveside service will be held February 5, 2022 at Cedar Hill Cemetery on South Wolfcreek Pike in Trotwood. Condolences may be expressed online at: www.Rogersfuneralhomes.com.
